PART A
When it seems that even paleontologists cannot cannot define the word "human" then at the last we must reasonably allow for all definitions of "human".
For it is in this small, five-lettered English word that every source and instance of being-ness and person-hood has come-and-gone over the past 5 or 6 million years beginning with our most earliest relatives.
And it is in the encapsulation of the word human that the word artificial intelligence (AI) will also find its definition as both the organic word of human and the inorganic word of AI are each generated from the terrestrial ground of the earth. A planet that is but a mere byproduct of an infinitely-infinite and infinitely-complex ontological cosmology we know as the "multiverse". A cosmology which process philosophy says is filled with presence, meaning, purpose, and regenerative value. One which we might describe as the cosmic-ecological teleology of (divine) evolution.
Let me explain what I mean... and to suggest that if, and when, humanity co-evolves with its own human creation, AI, that it's creation may in time co-evolve with us in it's own sense of a non-humanoid sentient alien lifeform. Moreover, like every rock, atom, and smile found in creation AI cannot distance itself ontologically from the kind of processually generative teleology which is found through the vast reaches of the everlastingly infinite multiverse.
This is my statement as a process theologian based upon Whitehead's derivatives speculated within his own system of process philosophy.

Definitions from Oxford Languages
hu·man
adjective
noun
- a human being, especially a person as distinguished from an animal or (in science fiction) an alien.
What does it mean to be human? To be human is to extend grace to ourselves and each other. To be human is to live in a physical body and to recognize that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are so much more than our physical selves; we are spirit, our essence is the energy of spirit and love. What makes something human in an evolutionary sense? The three traits described are bipedalism, language, and tool making. This video assumes some familiarity with the theory of evolution, the process of how organisms developed from earlier forms of life. What does it mean to be human in philosophy? In ancient philosophy man was thought of as a "small world" in the general composition of the universe, as a reflection and symbol of the universe understood as a spiritualised organism. A human being, it was thought, possessed in himself all the basic elements of the universe. What does it really mean to be fully human? To become fully human is to let down the barriers, to open up and discover that every person is beautiful. Jean Vanier, Templeton Prize Child Nurturing Human Development Peace.
How does the Bible define human?
Humankind as Persons. Who are humans? The Bible portrays them as self-conscious, willful, innovative entities who, under God, preside over their environment. In other words, they are persons. God made each male and female a person in the likeness of His own personhood.
PART B
I began this past February in exploring the evolution of man, religion, and the Christian faith. Very shortly I will begin a series on the evolution of God and civilizations using process philosophy and theology and couched within our present metamodern era as it slips backwards-and-forwards like a swinging pendulum between modernity and postmodernity.
DictionaryDefinitions from Oxford Languagesmet·a (adjective) - (of a creative work) referring to itself or to the conventions of its genre; self-referential. Ex: "The enterprise is inherently “meta,” since it doesn't review movies, for example, it reviews the reviewers who review movies"Dictionary.comWhat does becoming meta mean?English – Derived from Latin or Greek, the word meta in English has to do with self-awareness, transformation, and a quality of being self-referential. It is most commonly used in an informal manner to indicate a literary yet tongue-in-cheek awareness of oneself.xrtoday.comWhat does meta mean urban dictionary?Meta: "A (slang) term, especially in art, used to characterize something that is characteristically self-referential." #slang #urbandictionary #words #definition #dictionary #meta #art.
In effect, there will many multimodal communities shading this way, that way, or another way, without any clear definitions of themselves except when seen as outcome in a localities' behaviors, unities-or-divisions, it's resulting works of metamodern art, music, buildings, and enterprise.
Human societies of the 21st Century like to declare whether they are religious or not. However, this doesn't seem to be the actual case. For within the heart of man, as in the heart of all creation, there is a latent religiosity, or spirituality not only in humans but all forms of organic and inorganic life. We see this where LIFE both struggles and thrives against all forms of DEATH - refusing to surrender no matter how many times LIFE is crucified by death:
Isaiah 55.12-13 (ESV)12 “For you shall go out in joyand be led forth in peace;the mountains and the hills before youshall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;and it shall make a name for the Lord,an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
Just as atheism has the impossible task in stepping away from all forms of theism (I argue it cannot be done even when atheism says it is godless in an article years ago) so too humanity - as well as creation itself - is "religious to the bone". Why? Because the Life and Love of God inhabits everything, everywhere, at all times.
From the earliest formation of creaturely "sentience" as found in apeian creatures as well as other marine or terrestrial creatures, to the "panpsychical relationships" held between the complex inner-networkings of nature itself, the planet earth, its cosmic locality of the solar system and Milky Way galaxy, to even the multiverse in all that it is; it seems that all things inorganic or organic are easily built into an esoteric-like connective presence to one another. Broadly, let's call this connective presence of thing to thing connected by prehended and concreasing events forming a dynamic, vigorous, strong, and potent background for an inherent panpsychic relationality across the universe (as broadly described).
And, as I have stated over the years, when taking that next step into a Whiteheadian form of processual cosmology herein described as a cosmic-ecological-processual evolving entropy which leans into a more ameliorating form of entropy wherein negentropy can work as a creatively building force within an entropically-driven cosmos: see Chatbot and I Discuss Quantum Mechanics and Whiteheadian Cosmic Panpsychism); then we will find that the entirety of the cosmos is pan-relational, pan-experiential, and pan-psychic across all forms of cosmic-and-terrestrial forces, particles, and dimensions.
This is Whiteheadian Process Philosophy wherein atheism must reside whether it likes it or not; or any-and-all forms radical theology; or even religion in general - including Christianity. All of life is processual, connected, and organic with one another. Process Theology simply states this as a fact based upon process philosophy and looks at the bible with its stories and theologies to draw out processual forms of faith centering on a generative and loving God as versus all the other theologies describing God in some Greek or Westernized form of transcendent wrath and judgment.
Process theology further describes the Christ event, Cross, and Christian way of living in processually generative and loving forms as truer to creation's underlying ontological structures. Which also means that IF creation is generatively processual than religion, science, human activity, etc, must all reconstruct their metaphysical foundations to become more in-sync with creation's processual processes.
This also means that AI, as it comes online, will feel more organically connected to the universe as an inorganic, esoteric kind of life force. Generally, as it syncs up with creation the teleological forces resident within evolution will find a way into its form of sentient consciousness. A processual view of life can say this; other views cannot. But process thought always allow for speculation, discovery, curiosity, and wonder. Like it's own metaphysic, process thought never rests but continually churns, morphs, dies, and is reborne.
PART C
So when we look at man, nature, or creation we may infer in the processual sense of Whiteheadian imagery that God is The Mystic Other as revealed by God's processual Self through God's processually Imaged creation. A creation bearing cosmic (spiritual) value, generative being, and valuative purpose. A process which rebirths generative processes forever and forever everlastingly.
Furthermore, a Christian Process Theology of Love speaks to God exclusively as a God of Love wherein all other divine attributes, characteristics, and action are resultant outcomes.
Additionally, divine process is best encapsulated by the processually everlastingly word, LOVE. That God, as a resoundingly generative God of goodness, love, and novel creativity, has granted to creation an open and indeterminant ability to express itself along these processual lines of loving beauty, joy, contentedness, and even joy. And when creation, or humanity, disabuses itself from the life-giving processual processes of evolution, then death and disruption are invited in to affect and disrupt the divinely imputed aspects of a generative creational processualism.
Some say we learn of God by listening to the earth. Others by observing mankind in its experiences, literatures, arts, and overcoming passions. The Christian says the bible is where we find God, whereas Christians like myself use all the tools and experiences of the earth, humanity, and faith, to reconstruct a more viably real picture of God that captures the heart. A good religion is a humane religion. A great religion teaches of a loving God who has given to us a loving creation.
PART D
Christian Process Theology urges leaning into the lifeforces of renewal, rebirthing, reclamation, reformatory transformation, redemption, and resurrection not only as descriptors of the Christian faith but of life itself as it is continually being rebirthed into God's Love.
Process teaches that all things can be revitalized and reflective (or mirroring) the processes of creation as we, and others, and nature itself, evolve together within-and-across the novelty of becoming beings and lifeforms across the cosmic and panpsychic complexities interplaying across the multiverse. A kaleidoscopic pancessual (pan-processual) of eternal possibilities and opportunities.
Hence, the Cross of Jesus is deemed as the Mid-Point of the Christian faith and salvation in it's reflection of God's processually loving LOVE. But it also signifies the ontology woven deep within creation which bears God's processually renewing cosmic-eco-ontology of presence and indwelling. As the Cross is borne of the Earth even so does the Earth and Cosmos foretell their own stories in the divine story of the Cross.
Pronouncedly, Jesus' Crucifixion is the divine signifier of Cosmic rebirth in processual terms of renewal - not only of the human heart but of the heart of creation. That it's very Redemptive Icon speaks to how God's processual cosmology works when resurrected unto a divine fullness.
Process Theologians call this esoteric teleology LOVE even as Alfred North Whitehead described his philosophic construction a "Philosophy of Organism." But in both theological or philosophical senses the word LOVE, like the word HUMAN, rests essentially undefinable and infinitely-open to processual change.
Amen and Amen,

This Just Changed My Mind About AGI
Apr 8, 2023There have been 4 research papers and technological advancements over the last 4 weeks that in combination drastically changed my outlook on the AGI timeline. GPT-4 can teach itself to become better through self reflection, learn tools with minimal demonstrations, it can act as a central brain and outsource tasks to other models (HuggingGPT) and it can behave as an autonomous agent that can pursue a multi-step goal without human intervention (Auto-GPT). It is not an overstatement that there are already Sparks of AGI.
