Thankfully my personality seems to lend itself to "consensual leadership" when tasked with "leading". Despite early teachings and youthful beliefs these diverged in my life when it got down to the reality of working/partnering with others - including my family, both my spouse and my children. We tended to share and discuss with one another in many areas. Too, I always think we are better when we listen to one another and work together as much as possible. When we do, many things can go well while difficulties and obstacles can be better handled together rather than alone. Thank you for your observation.R.E. The caller was in a very similar circumstance. The husband was leading the family into financial ruin. The wife continued to submit and was trusting God to rescue her family this area just as Sarah submitted to Abraham and did not fear anything. Nancy praised her for this and told her it was such a beautiful example of her faith and I believed it. Now, as an Egalitarian, because Complementarian theology nearly destroyed our family, I remember that episode and shudder when I think of how dangerous that theology is and that it is broadcasted world wide and in different languages.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00681544456261700912noreply@blogger.com
